You will also need one or both of the following;

Mantus Chain Hook, sized for your chain (not included but sold separately)
Mantus Mooring Snap Shackle, sized for your boat size and is used to attach the bridle to the mooring ball (not included, but sold separately)

(If tying to a MOORING, instead of bringing the dirty mooring line onboard just clip to it with the Mantus Mooring Snap Shackle. In this set up the Snap Shackle is attached to the thimble instead of the Chain Hook)

So more simply said the bridle ensures that your anchor has the highest chance of staying put and your boat staying intact.
